uSense Solutions 1.1.101 — installation reliability update

This release fixes installation and upgrade failures on security‑managed and enterprise Windows PCs. On affected systems, Microsoft Defender "Attack Surface Reduction" was blocking a component of the installer, causing setup to stop with "Error 0x80070643 – Fatal error during installation." All installer components are now digitally signed and recognised as trusted, so installation and upgrades complete normally.

Recommended for all users, and especially for computers managed by a company or institution IT department. No changes to measurement or analysis functionality.

• Instrument drivers now install on Windows 11: The USB drivers for Unisense instruments — UniMOTCON motor controllers, UniAmp, Opto sensors, PI motor controllers, and the Measurement Computing DAQ — are now Microsoft-attested and load correctly on the latest Windows 11 (with Secure Boot). This resolves the *"Windows cannot verify the digital signature for the drivers required for this device (Code 52)"* error that prevented instruments from being recognized on new machines. Windows 10 and existing working installations were not affected.

uSense Solutions 1.1.0 

This release introduces support for the UniAmp NO₃ (nitrate) sensor with full calibration, alongside new data-import and workflow features and a broad set of stability and crash-resistance fixes.
New Features
• UniAmp NO₃ (nitrate) sensor support — measure nitrate with the UniAmp NO₃ sensor: guided Lab and Field calibration with three concentration models, interference compensation (e.g. nitrite and chloride) with background correction, calibration stored on the sensor, and NO₃ concentration shown in the Instruments view and the logger.
• Nortek EC data import — import support for the new Nortek vector data format.
• Support for Nortek Vector (gen. 2) — second-generation Nortek Vector instruments are now supported.
• Field-motor improvements — the minimum step size is now exposed, and profiling arrival is handled correctly for coarse-step motors.

Stability & Crash Fixes
• Fixed a crash when opening a data-logger item whose data file was missing, locked, or on a cloud-synced folder — the item now opens with a clear message instead of closing the application.
• Fixed several device-service crashes (UniAmp serial handling, FirestingV2 sensor polling, and the start-up timer).
• The crash report dialog now displays reliably.
• Fixed a crash when saving a session with no devices detected on scan.
• Fixed a crash when opening a logger whose file path was too long — it now shows a message instead.
