Protection Cap
With the steel protection cap, you reduce the risk of breaking the fragile sensor tip and hereby prolong the expected lifetime of the sensor. This is especially useful if you are measuring in bulk water, e.g. wastewater. The Protection Cap is also ideal for mounting in a reactor with a compression fitting.
The Protection Cap comes in two versions: a permanent mounted and a reusable version. Both cap types can be mounted on laboratory and in situ sensors. The diameter of the protection cap is 10 mm and holes in the cap ensure flow around the sensor tip to maintain its measuring properties.
